This collection examines various representations of the female nude in the SAAM collection. By considering elements such as socioeconomic class, race, environment, and other identifying factors, this collection aims to explore how each artwork conveys a different meaning (despite the common theme of nudity that exists in each work). What about the woman’s stance, gaze, surroundings, etc..
